For sixteen years he brought to our meetings humor, good ideas, and hair-brained schemes, all in equal measure. Pete will be missed.
The Fortuna Redwood AutoXpo Committee dedicated the 2007 show in memory of Peter Perdew, a Committee Member since our beginning in 1990, whom was lost that year to cancer. Peter was a man who ate, slept and dreamed cars! He earned his living from them and took great pleasure in owning and sharing his special sports cars.

He was a unique character with boundless enthusiasm for the success of our car show each year. Peter took on the unenviable task of securing donations for trophies, prizes and "goody-bags", talking up the AutoXpo with the business community and securing their generosity to enable us to present some of the most attractive and memorable trophies of any car show year after year. For sixteen years he brought to our meetings humor, good ideas, and hair-brained schemes, all in equal measure. He will be missed.
Pete's Austin Healy "Bug-Eye" with its signature paint job, generously loaned by his family, was on display at the 2007 AutoXpo's registration at Fortuna High School. AutoXpo will remember him in all we do, and was pleased to honor our unique and stalwart comrade by dedicating the 2007 AutoXpo to his memory.
